46 students, OSY in Taytay, Rizal receive 10K each through special employment program – Manila Bulletin
A total of 46 Out-of-School Youth (OSY) in Taytay, Rizal received 10,000 P. each from Rizal Provincial Government after completing their 30-day Special Student Employment Program (SPES) on Thursday 23 December. .
SPES is an employment program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in which poor students, out-of-school youth and the children of displaced workers have the opportunity to work in order to support their families and their needs. continue their studies.
Applicants for the program must be at least 15-30 years old and their parents’ combined income is below the regional poverty line.
Students must have an overall grade point average (GWA) from their respective schools and the OSY must be certified by the local Welfare and Development Office (SWDO).
Qualified students can work in the public or private sector during the summer, on vacation, or whenever they can for 30 days.
The program was implemented by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the provincial government of Rizal.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the Mayor of the Municipality of Taytay, George Ricardo Gacula II, congratulated the âIskolars ni Gobâ for completing the program and thanked those who contributed to the success of the program.
The event was attended by Rizal Jun Vice Governor Ray San Juan, Taytay Deputy Mayor Michell Bermundo, Councilor Kyle Gacula, Councilor Philip Jeison Cruz and District 1 Board Member Ross Glenn T. Gongora.
