Job description:
KGO-TV / ABC7 News, an ABC-owned television station in San Francisco, is looking for a producer of News, one of the major news programs. We are looking for someone who has experience telling a story and creating a vibrant newscast with multiple live elements. Responsible for story development and context, nonlinear desktop editing, story and tea making, graphic design, timing and all other editing and production elements. Control room experience and professional ability to handle the latest news should be proven. Expect to provide story ideas on a daily basis and to actively participate in press decisions and editorial meetings. We are looking for volunteers and team players who can work effectively with a wide range of people, support and contribute to an inclusive culture. Applicants must be willing to create cross-platform content for TV, digital platforms and social media. You need to be organized and work well under pressure with a certain time limit.

Requirements:
You must have good writing skills. Has a solid judgment on the news. Demonstrate strong communication skills. Creativity and capacity for ethical decision-making. Requires experience from mid to major market producers. A four-year university degree and knowledge of the Bay Area is desirable.
