Senior Account Manager – Pedestrian Jobs

Role Description:

Thinking Loud is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Sydney team on a permanent full-time basis, working on a combination of PR, content and experiential campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and culture, strong media relations and an in-depth knowledge of the creative collectives, artists, trends and communities that drive culture in Australia and overseas.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day expectations and requests from PR agency clients, spanning record label, consumer brand and event/entertainment accounts

  • End-to-end management of key campaign projects and retained client accounts

  • Work with internal cross-functional teams and contract staff to plan and implement innovative and creative PR campaigns in accordance with KPIs

  • Work closely with the media to provide thoughtful, top-notch editorial output in the areas of music, lifestyle, pop culture and consumer technology

  • Oversee internal agency process documents and tools (WIP documents, run sheets, worksheets, timelines, KPI trackers, content schedules, client reports)

  • Assist, where possible, in building the consumer brand and music agency client list and creating new business leads through existing contacts and research

  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Thinking Loud values ​​as a company

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of agency experience in a PR and communications role, with experience planning and implementing music and brand PR campaigns (music PR experience is a bonus)

  • Strong team management, organizational and time management skills

  • A strong passion for music and culture with in-depth knowledge of these industrial landscapes in Australia, including key media, labels, artists, promoters, festivals and venues

  • Ability to demonstrate a healthy network of contacts and media relations across multiple industry sectors, with contacts in the music, lifestyle, pop culture and consumer technology sectors an asset

  • Proven track record in developing strong collaborative relationships with existing and potential clients

  • The ability to problem solve and work independently
